Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once payment, or the agreed deposit, has
been received and a confirmation email has been issued by Solway
Stays. The lead guest must be at least 18 years of age and accepts
responsibility for all members of the party.

Payment
Full payment or the agreed deposit must be received before your
booking is confirmed. Any remaining balance must be paid by the due
date stated on your booking confirmation. Failure to make payment
by the required date may result in cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation
Please notify Solway Stays as soon as possible if you need to
cancel your booking. Cancellation charges may apply depending on
how close to your arrival date the cancellation is made. We
strongly recommend that all guests obtain suitable holiday and
travel insurance.

Damage Deposit
A refundable £250 damage deposit is required for every booking and
must be paid before check-in. Following your departure, the
property will be inspected.
Refund of your deposit: If no damage, excessive
cleaning, missing items or breaches of these terms are identified,
your deposit will be refunded within seven days. Where costs exceed
the value of the deposit, Solway Stays reserves the right to recover
any additional reasonable costs incurred.

Check In & Check Out
Check-in is available from 4:00pm unless otherwise agreed in
writing. Guests must check out by 10:00am on the scheduled
departure date to allow sufficient time for the property to be
prepared for incoming guests.

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests must not exceed the number stated on
your booking. Only guests named or included on the booking
confirmation may stay overnight at the property.

Parties & Events
Hen parties, stag parties, large gatherings and commercial events
are not permitted without prior written permission from Solway
Stays. Any approved gathering must comply with the agreed guest
numbers and conditions.

Respect for Neighbours
Guests must respect neighbouring properties and the local community
at all times. Noise should be kept to a reasonable level, with quiet
hours observed between 10:00pm and 8:00am.

Care of the Property
Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, wash all
used dishes, dispose of rubbish correctly and return furniture and
other items to their original positions. Any accidental damage,
maintenance issue or breakage must be reported to Solway Stays
promptly.

Smoking
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the property.
Guests who smoke outside must dispose of cigarette ends safely and
responsibly.

Pets
Where pets are accepted, they must be declared at the time of
booking. Owners remain responsible for their pets throughout the
stay, including their behaviour, supervision and any cleaning or
damage caused.

Parking & WiFi
Parking is provided at guests' own risk. Complimentary WiFi is
supplied for reasonable guest use; however, uninterrupted service,
speed and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Liability
Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk.
Solway Stays accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage
of personal belongings, vehicles or other property, except where
responsibility is required by law.

Privacy
Personal information supplied during the booking process will only
be used to administer your reservation, respond to enquiries and
provide information connected with your stay. Personal information
will not be sold to third parties. Please read our

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any dispute relating to a booking or stay will be subject to the
jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
